We believe education is the root solution to the most pressing global challenges, and that by reimagining it together, we can build a better collective future. Right now, most students spend years inside an education system without ever being shown how it came to look the way it does and what else it could become. And yet, young people are uniquely situated to offer perspectives from inside the system, especially the most marginalised communities. unjadED equips young people with the frameworks and nuance to engage with the education system’s complex challenges and possibilities.

Founded by Jade Bowler, education advocate and creator with an audience of 1.5+ million, and Emma Tam, innovative curricula designer and director, unjadED was established to address the critical lack of education young people receive about education itself. Moving beyond tokenistic consultation to sustainable systemic change, unjadED creates pathways for education decision-makers to partner with young people.

Jade and Emma are joined on the founding team by Esther Odejimi-Uzokwe, our Chief Operating Officer. An Oxford-educated strategist and entrepreneur, Esther brings experience across finance, public policy, and social impact, including scaling 10,000 Black Interns. Together, the team combines digital reach, educational design, and operational expertise to build a world where shaping education is a cross-generational practice.
